Meet and greet Ben van Berkel on Tuesday 26 October 2010
At 5 pm Ben van Berkel will give a presentation on his new design, PROOFF #005 SitTable, in relation to the larger scale of architectural designs of UNStudio. After his lecture visitors are invited to join him at the SitTable for interesting points of view and discussions.

Multiple activities furniture
Ben van Berkel’s PROOFF #005 SitTable is a perfect example of how multiple activities can be brought together in one furniture piece. This mixture of table and seating was originally developed by UNStudio as ‘the longest table for all cultures’. The SitTable evolved into a furniture object suitable for everybody, many locations and various situations; not defining and dictating its use in the first instance, but discovering its possibilities along the way.
